In 2025, WiM Queensland has broadened our unique professional support programme, and simplified the process to boost the careers of more women in the media industry.
WIM Qld is partnering with Working Wiser to offer group coaching sessions focused on strategies to deal with everyday challenges at work and to re-ignite tired careers. These are critical areas for women who want to upskill and build career confidence, without long and expensive education commitments.
On offer are five group sessions with highly respected Television executive and communication coach, Cathie Schnitzerling.
Working Wiser workshops cover:
-
Getting started - goal setting and imposter syndrome
-
Moving on up - moving into management and managing multiple priorities
-
Keeping the peace - resolving conflict and managing criticism/feedback
-
Building strengths - team building and learning to network
These small group workshops of five people cover two topics in 75-minute modules and can be in-person or virtual.
It is coaching for all stages of your career, no matter what part of the media industry you work in - whether that’s public relations, government, journalism, social media, graphics, media production and technology.
The application process is fast and simple - we want to help as many women in media as possible.
