Coaching helps you realise your full potential.

It’s a partnership between coach and client to raise awareness, think the unthinkable and find new ways of working that are right for you. Coaching can transform both your work and your life.

The inaugural Women in Media Industry Insight Report 2023 informs the call for gender equality, pathways for career progress, and access to support and resources for women working in all roles and types of media.

It flags actions for employers, but Women in Media also wants to ensure we are supporting and providing our members with opportunities to address these career concerns.

The survey of women working in a range of media roles across Australia found that 56% of women were dissatisfied or unsure about how to advance their careers.

To help women progress in their careers, we are partnering with Nudge Coaching to offer six Women in Media members the opportunity to participate in free leadership coaching.

The coaching scholarships are open to women working in media across Australia and will be offered virtually.

What is coaching?

Coaching helps you at all levels to unlock change and realise your full potential. It’s a partnership between coach and client to raise awareness, think the unthinkable and find new ways of working that are right for you. Coaching can transform both your work and your life.

These are the types of questions clients bring to coaching:

  • What am I doing, and where am I going?

  • How can I increase my confidence and stop overthinking?

  • How can I improve my work/life balance?

  • How can I improve work relationships and my communication style?

  • How can my leadership style evolve to meet the demands of my new job?
