Award-winning journalist, ABC anchor, bestselling author and hit podcaster Leigh Sales AM will be centre stage at the Women in Media National Conference 2023 – talking all things journalism.


Leigh Sales AM is one of Australia's most respected journalists, known for her incisive interviews and dedication to uncovering the truth. As the anchor of ABC's flagship current affairs program 7.30, she has conducted numerous high-profile interviews with world leaders, politicians, and influential figures. Leigh has been recognised for her exceptional journalism with multiple prestigious awards, including three Walkley Awards.


Her new book Storytellers: Questions, Answers and the Craft of Journalism Leigh interviews the cream of Australian journalists about their craft – how (and why) they bring us the background stories that inform our lives.


At the Women in Media 2023 National Conference, Leigh will share her insights and experiences, offering valuable perspective on the evolving profession of journalism. She’ll also be on hand to sign copies of her book.
